About
Nora Walls is a writer based in New York. She holds a bachelor's degree in English and Media Studies from the University of Virginia and a master's degree in Professional Writing from New York University. Her work has been featured in McSweeney's Internet Tendency, The Belladonna, Points in Case, Little Old Lady Comedy, and her college newspaper. She previously wrote sketch comedy for two Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Maude Teams, Yes, Chef! and Glamour College. She currently writes and produces digital shorts for No Worries If Not, a Gold Comedy digital production team. Her videos have been featured at festivals around the country and in Canada.
In addition to her humorous endeavors, Nora is an experienced content writer and communications strategist. In her master's program at NYU, she focused on using creative writing and digital media production to help non-profits tell their stories. Nora also puts her writing and communications skills to use as a Senior Communications Associate at the Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund, a non-profit that improves financial stability nationwide by embedding financial empowerment in local government.
